Is this a real Solana mint?+
Yes. Each claim mints a compressed NFT (cNFT) on Solana mainnet via Metaplex Bubblegum. You can verify the mint signature on Solscan, view it in Phantom, and list it on Tensor or Magic Eden — same standard the rest of the cNFT ecosystem uses.
Do I have to pay to mint?+
No. Mints are free. Poke Hatch pays the network fee. Click claim and the Pokémon lands in your wallet.
Are the arena rewards real SOL?+
Yes. Each win credits a flat 0.005 SOL to your wallet's reward ledger. Wins stack until you hit claim — the server sends a real SystemProgram.transfer from the rewards wallet to yours and you'll see the actual signature on Solscan. There's a per-wallet daily cap of 0.02 SOL (4 wins) so the game stays sustainable, and a project-wide global cap that protects the rewards pool from over-distribution. Minimum claim is 0.005 SOL.
What's the deal with the wild creatures?+
When the queue is empty, a wild Pokémon is auto-generated from a deterministic timestamp seed and takes the throne. They keep the action going 24/7 and don't earn rewards — beating one is a free way to take the crown.
How is the Pokémon decided from my seed?+
The 8-byte seed is hashed into bytes that pick species (300 options), type (18), stats (HP / ATK / DEF / SPD), pixel-art layers, and a CSS color filter. Open /lib/renderer.ts — same seed always produces the same Pokémon.
Can I trade them outside the site?+
Yes. cNFTs are standard Bubblegum assets — Tensor, Magic Eden, Hyperspace, every cNFT-aware market reads them. The in-app marketplace is just a convenience for in-collection trades.
